What is 4G?
4G is the fourth generation of mobile telecommunications technology
A 4G system, in addition to the usual voice and other services of 3G,
provides mobile ultra-broadband Internet access.
This improved technology is now being offered to
Telenor’s customers so they can have access to high-speed mobile internet.
What are the requirements of 4G?
Telenor 4G can be experienced as long as the subscriber is with in 4G coverage area and has 4G 850 band compatible mobile handset, tablet or dongle and Telenor 4G Ready SIM.
For 4G to work, customers need a:
•Telenor 4G Ready SIM
•Smartphone that is compatible with 4G 850 band which are legally imported in Pakistan
•Presence in 4G coverage area
4G Packages
Telenor Pakistan has not introduced 4G packages till now as they are offering it for free to some of cities just like they did for 3G as its a test run in the whole country.
4G packages are expected to be cheap at first but then they will increase prices.
